Like us, but smaller.
What do you write about when you blog for a storage company? That’s a good question. After I’ve written about organization tips for your kitchen 3 times in the last six months, I think it would only take a handful of monkeys to replicate my work. The best part about having a storage blog, is that I don’t exactly have a lot of readership, and therefore pretty low expectations. Sprinkle in some storage related keywords, some stock images, and I have a weekly blog post.
Hopefully, someone looking for Watertown MA storage stumbles upon our website and decides to do business with us. If they do, I can keep writing more blogs about pantry reorganization.
With self storage trending in a positive manner these days, it’s actually rather fulfilling being in the storage industry. You cannot visit any home retailer without seeing a sign for storage. Even the Apple store has a storage category, albeit cloud based. Everyone wants to move from chaos to order. If I find myself hanging out in Cambridge, or tech savvy Southend, I just tell people I’m “in storage” and they nod. They get it.
So, I do have a lot to look forward to in 2016. I have my son’s antfarm to ponder when I hit a block. Eat, dig tunnels, eat, repeat. Not that much different than some one with a storage blog to write.
