Not enough storage?
Can we ever have enough storage? Have you been receiving these messages, “Not Enough Storage”? It’s seems that storage is on everyone’s mind these days. Small house, tiny apartment, compact car, 16gb internal storage. . . not enough storage.
I just got the new iPhone and it feels like I’m already out of storage. I was forced to purchase an additional 50gb for $1/mo. It’s nice just to have things go off to the cloud. But the downside is I can never get rid of something once it has reached the cloud. For better or worse, we exist in a world of not enough storage. The same applies to our living situation. It feels as though every day when I go to clean up after making breakfast, I’m hit with the same warning message my iPhone send me: “Not enough storage”.
The kitchen is definitely a place where a lot of stress starts in regards to finding a place for everything. And tidying up, or finding a place for everything is not a solution. Reduction is the solution. This can be done a couple of ways. Disposal is one way, but not the best. There is a reason you have the item, and you’ll wish you had that item when you need it. One example is the crock pot. This is one large kitchen item that can take up a lot of space in the kitchen. But it sits ideal 95% of the year. We tend to use crock pots in the fall and holiday season. This is where the storage unit comes in handy. That crock pot can be in storage January through September. There are some other appliances too that seem to sit ideal most of the year. Bread maker and ice cream maker are two items that can switch positions in the storage unit because one is of use in the winter, the other in the summer.
If you find yourself moving to Hudson, and there is not enough storage for all of your items you don’t use everyday? It’s probably not going to be getting better, nor will you be spending your days like a monk. Outsource your storage with a full service storage provider such as Storage Plus in Waltham, MA.
